It has brought so much clarity to my past experiences, putting words, labels, researched proof to what I didn’t know how to explain or process, I just knew the feelings.
Our global team deeply cares about the experiences of survivors and the many ways in which our identity affects our experience of trauma. We bring a wealth of expertise and lived experience to Bloom.
Bloom informs and empowers survivors by offering remote courses that combine the insights of survivors globally on trauma and gender-based violence with therapeutic practices to heal from trauma. Bloom is a programme by Chayn.
Chayn is a global nonprofit, run by survivors and allies from around the world, creating resources to support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence. We create open, online resources and services for survivors of abuse that are trauma-informed, intersectional, multi-lingual and feminist.
Bloom supports everyone regardless of your background, race, age, disability, religion or belief, sexuality, gender identity or expression, or life circumstances – we are here for you.
Bloom has been a great experience for me. The course has made me reflect a lot on what it means to "work on yourself" and how that looks like. And through Bloom, I've realized that working on yourself is similar to school or hobbies - it takes commitment, time, and studying. This course is anonymous, accessible, and time sensitive - I think it gives grace to all participants who need that time, space, and encouragement to get through the sessions.
Bloom is brought to you by Chayn, a global non-profit, run by survivors and allies from around the world, creating resources to support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence.
